MSU is a series of live internet training opportunities conducted by MediaComplete staff. One hour sessions will be scheduled at times convenient for your staff and volunteers. These internet sessions will be delivered via GoToMeeting ® technology. It's simple to purchase a session up to a month in advance and schedule your entire team to attend or view the session in the comfort of home. There is a limit of 15 participants for each session. There will be 40 - 90 minutes of instruction viewed on your computer screen, depending on the session, then 20 minutes of questions submitted via live chat from the participants and specific answers from the trainer. Initially there will be an Introduction to MediaShout Session 101, Working with Cues and Scripts Session 201 and a special MediaShout Tech Session 150.

The MediaShout event staff conduct live training sessions at numerous events through the year. We occasionally travel to conduct onsite training for a church or group of churches. But all of these sessions have limited access for MediaShout users either due to cost or location. MSU is our effort to find solutions for anyone to have access to a training experience to improve the way MediaShout is used anywhere. These can be easily ordered in advance on the Training page of the Shoutable Store. Each session requires an internet connection for the visual component and a separate telephone line to dial in for access to the audio portion. The cost of the phone call is additional and is simply the cost of a regular long distance call for the time of the training session. The visual part can be viewed on your computer screen or projected from your computer onto a larger screen, and with a speaker phone for the audio portion your entire media team can benefit from a single session.

Each topic will be offered multiple times every week for the easiest access. Transcripts of the session Q&A log can be downloaded for future reference. Sessions are available now for sign-up on the Shoutable Store.

Course Descriptions:
Introduction to MediaShout 101 - This is the foundational class for MediaShout University. Is it geared towards the person who runs MediaShout at their church. This class is a basic tour of the MediaShout interface. You'll see how to use the Crew Members in the Crew Box – in building a script and displaying important media elements on the fly.

Advanced MediaShout 201 - Discover the power of MediaShout by going beyond the basics. You will see the flexibility of MediaShout in creating Scripts by using all the power of Cue Templates and the Cue Properties Box. This class will also show you how to import songs directly into MediaShout. Before taking this class, you should either have a good understanding of the MediaShout interface including crewmembers OR have taken MS 101.

MediaShout Tech Session 150 - This special session led by one of the MediaShout Tech Support staff will cover setting up your computer to get the most out of MediaShout. It includes discussions of system requirements, using peripherals, network issues and systems tweaks for maximum quality video performance from the guys with the answers. Time is allotted for chat questions.

Tutorials
You may not realize it, but if you already own MediaShout you have training available to you right now.Included with the software was a tutorial training script. To find these scripts, just do the following:

For v2.5 users

For v3 users (Standard and Express)
In MediaShout choose Tutorials in the Help menu, then double-click the tutorial Script you'd like to open.
